Poster Printing in Oakville

A good poster gets read from across the room. We print yours in vivid colour on the paper finish that suits where it will hang.

A poster is one of the quickest ways to get a message onto a wall. Local businesses, schools, community groups, realtors and artists order from us in Oakville, Mississauga and Burlington for sales, events, open houses, school fairs and gallery pieces. We print them in full colour at sizes from small to very large.

Options and sizes

  • Sizes. Popular choices are 11 by 17, 18 by 24, 24 by 36 and 27 by 40 inches, and we can print custom sizes. Our poster sizes and paper guide helps you pick.
  • Paper finish. Gloss makes colours pop and suits photos. Matte reduces glare and reads well under bright lights. Satin sits in between with a soft sheen. Ask us which fits your design.
  • Single or multiple. One art print or a run for a whole chain of locations.
  • Mounting. For a stiffer, display-ready piece, we can mount posters on foam board. Ask us about other options.

Best uses

  • Event and concert promotion
  • Retail window and in-store promotions
  • School projects, fairs and science presentations
  • Real estate feature sheets and neighbourhood maps
  • Restaurant menus and specials boards
  • Art prints and photography

Posters are made for indoor use. If your message needs to survive rain and wind, ask us about vinyl banners or yard signs instead.

Tips for great results

  • Build your file in CMYK and at the final size, with a little bleed past the edge if colour runs to the border.
  • Aim for roughly 150 dpi at full size for photos viewed from a distance, and higher for close viewing.
  • Keep important text away from the edges so trimming never clips it.
  • Use large headlines. A reader should get the point in three seconds.
  • Dark text on a light background is the safest for legibility.

Our file setup guide covers bleed, resolution and colour in more depth.

What file format should I send?

A PDF at the final size is best. High-quality JPG or PNG files also work if the resolution is high enough.

Can I put a poster outside?

Posters are meant for indoors. For weather exposure, ask about vinyl or coroplast options.

Can you mount my poster on something rigid?

Yes. We can mount posters on foam board for easy display on an easel or wall.
