Foam Board Printing in Oakville

A print mounted on foam board stands up straight, travels light and looks clean on an easel. We make them for Oakville events, offices, schools and photographers.

Foam board printing means your image is printed and mounted on a flat, rigid, lightweight board. It is easy to carry, easy to prop up on an easel, and flatter than a plain paper poster. People around Oakville, Mississauga and Burlington use foam board prints for weddings, memorials, school fairs, real estate open houses, office lobbies and presentations.

Options and sizes

Foam board prints are made to suit your project, so sizes are flexible. Tell us the dimensions you need and we will quote it. Common choices follow standard poster and frame sizes, which makes it simple to fit an existing easel or stand.

  • Printed on one side, ready to hang or place on an easel
  • Rigid and lightweight, so large pieces stay manageable
  • A smooth, clean look for photos, charts and signage
  • Custom sizes and quantities, just ask us

Foam board is mainly an indoor product. It is not designed for rain, wind or long outdoor exposure. If you need a sign that lives outside, a coroplast yard sign is built for that.

Best uses

  • Welcome signs and seating charts for weddings and parties
  • Photo displays for memorials, retirements and anniversaries
  • Presentation boards for schools, clubs and business meetings
  • Event signage, menus and directional signs
  • Easel signs for shops, studios and lobbies

Tips for great results

Use a high-resolution image sized for the finished board. A photo that looks fine on screen may be blurry at poster size, so check the resolution before sending. Aim for about 150 dpi at full size for large pieces, and higher for close viewing.

Handle foam board gently. The surface can dent or crease if it is pressed or dropped, and the edges can chip. Carry boards flat or on edge, and avoid stacking heavy items on top. Keep them away from heat, damp and direct sun, which can warp the board.

If you are moving boards between venues, a flat, padded carrying bag or a sheet of cardboard on each side protects the corners. For a comparison with outdoor options, read foam board vs coroplast signs. If you only need a paper print for framing, see our poster printing page and the guide to poster sizes and paper. For a soft, gallery look, consider canvas prints.

Can foam board go outside?

It is meant mainly for indoor use. For outdoor signs, coroplast is a better choice.

How big can a foam board print be?

Sizes vary. Tell us the dimensions you want and we will tell you what is possible.

Can I use my own photo?

Yes. Send a sharp, high-resolution image and we will let you know if it will hold up at the size you want.
