Canvas Prints in Oakville

Your favourite photo or artwork, printed on canvas and stretched over a frame so it is ready for the wall.

A canvas print gives a photo or painting a textured, finished look without a separate frame. People in Oakville, Mississauga and Burlington order them for living rooms, nurseries, offices and cottages, and to give as gifts for weddings, anniversaries and graduations. Artists also use them to reproduce original work.

Options and sizes

  • Gallery-style stretched canvas. The print is wrapped around a wooden frame, so it hangs straight from a single hook without further framing.
  • Sizes. From small desk-size pieces to large statement walls. Tell us the space and we will help you choose.
  • Orientation. Landscape, portrait or square, to match your photo.
  • Edges. The image can wrap around the sides, or a border can be added. Ask us what suits your picture.
  • Sets. Matching canvases can be grouped on a wall as a pair or a trio.

Best uses

  • Family portraits, newborn and wedding photos
  • Travel and landscape photography
  • Reproductions of original paintings and drawings
  • Gifts for parents, grandparents and couples
  • Office, clinic and restaurant decor
  • Memorial and keepsake pieces

If you want something lighter and easier to swap out, a poster may be a better fit. Our canvas photo guide compares the two.

Tips for great results

  • Use the original file from your camera or phone, not a screenshot or a social media copy. Those are compressed and lose detail.
  • Larger canvases need more pixels. If a file looks soft when you zoom in, it may look soft on the wall.
  • Leave breathing room around faces and key details, because the edges may wrap around the frame.
  • Photos with strong contrast and good lighting tend to look best on canvas.
  • Dark or very bright areas can lose detail, so check your image before sending.

Not sure about resolution? Our file setup guide explains it simply.

Can you print from a phone photo?

Often yes, especially with recent phones. Send the original file and we will tell you honestly if it will hold up at the size you want.

Does the canvas come ready to hang?

Yes. Our stretched canvas prints are made to hang without an extra frame.

Can you fix an old or damaged photo?

Ask us. Tell us what is wrong with the picture and we will let you know what can be done.
